Thank you for coming through the door.

A full week, chief — thank you.
The cafe is open — and thank you for coming
The cafe opened its doors this past Saturday, and it's been quietly wonderful. Thank you to everyone who came in for a coffee, a bake, a chat, or just to sit for a while. There's something particular about a room when it's finally being used the way you always imagined it would be — and this weekend, that's what happened.
We'd genuinely love to hear what you thought. What worked, what didn't, what you'd like us to serve, what could be better. Tell us in person next time you're in, drop a note on the way out, or message us on the studio WhatsApp. Every bit of feedback shapes what this becomes.
Saturdays and Sundays are our Fresh Baked days — warm bakes, real coffee, a proper place to sit. During the week, the cafe is also open, in a quieter working-hours version — a decaf between meetings, a slice of something for the afternoon, a plate of what we've made that morning.
If you have a favourite you'd like to see on the menu, tell us. Half of what's on there already came from someone asking.
Two weeks left on Early Yogi — for the September cohorts
While we have you: this is the gentle reminder.
The Early Yogi discount closes on Thursday 31 July for Foundation and Integrative — the two courses that start in September. That's just under two weeks away. Yogic Breath & Yogic Mindfulness starts in October, so its Early Yogi runs a little longer, until 31 August. Each course has its own saving, so it's worth looking at the one that fits you.
We offer three training paths, each with a different intention:
Foundation 200h — start your yoga journey towards becoming a yoga teacher.
Our classical 200-hour course, rooted in the Sanatan and Gitananda traditions, accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals. For anyone ready to take their practice seriously and step, in time, into teaching. 9 months, monthly Sundays + guided online study, 15 places. Cohort starts Sunday 27 September.
Early Yogi: £1,800 (save £200, standard £2,000). → Foundation 200h
Integrative 500h (Advanced + Therapeutic) — deepen your personal development through yoga, and grow into your seniority as a teacher.
A 12-month advanced pathway with Yogachariya Jnandev Giri, for qualified 200h teachers ready to work therapeutically and one-to-one. In-person Saturday + Sunday weekends at the studio, with a retreat week in Portugal. This is where practice becomes vocation. Cohort starts September.
Early Yogi: £3,200 (save £400, standard £3,600). → Integrative 500h
Yogic Breath & Yogic Mindfulness 100h — for practice development and for teaching breath and stillness at the studio.
A 10-month specialist immersion with Yogathilakam Deepika Giri and Prajnananda (Marcio), rooted in the Gitananda tradition. For committed practitioners who want to learn to teach prāṇāyāma, dhāraṇā, and yoga nidrā properly — no 200h required. 14 in-studio days, 15 places. Cohort starts Saturday 31 October — which is why the Early Yogi runs longer here, until 31 August.
Early Yogi: £1,600 (save £200, standard £1,800). → Yogic Breath & Yogic Mindfulness 100h
A small note we're rather proud of: our first Foundation cohort at the studio finishes this month, and several of them are already teaching with us. Watching them step onto the mat as teachers — for real students, in real classes — has been one of the most quietly joyful things about this first year. It's the reason we do this work. If any of them have taught you already, you'll know exactly what we mean.
For everyone who has already told me they're interested — I'll be reaching out to you personally this week to check in and answer whatever's still on your mind. If you'd rather come to me first, or you're sitting with a question you haven't asked yet, please just send me a message on the studio WhatsApp. That's the fastest way to reach me, and no question is too small.
If you already know you're in, secure your spot by 31 July to lock the Early Yogi price.
The workspace opens 1 August
For anyone who's been asking (and there have been a lot of you): the co-working workspace opens on Friday 1 August. Quiet room, good wifi, decent coffee downstairs, a proper chair, and a studio full of yoga if you need to un-desk yourself at lunchtime.
More details on memberships, day passes, and quiet hours in a separate post this week. If you'd like to be first in the door, reply to this and we'll hold a spot for launch morning.
New classes on the schedule
We've been quietly adding classes to the timetable, and there are two new ones we're especially pleased with:
Loma-Viloma — Core Activation. Wednesdays 10:30am.
A precise, focused class drawing on the Gitananda breath-and-bandha tradition. Loma-Viloma works the deep core — not the six-pack, the real core — through breath, gentle movement, and conscious activation. It's the kind of practice that changes how you stand, how you sit, and how your back feels by the end of the week. Warm, small, deeply satisfying.
Movement. 12pm.
A middle-of-the-day mobility and movement class — flowing, un-fussed, a proper release for the desk-bound. Not vinyasa, not a workout: movement in the older sense, where the body remembers what it's meant to do.
And a note on the 6:30am warm practices we'd mentioned: with the school holidays looming and August traditionally quieter at the studio, we've decided to hold those until September, when everyone's back and actually wanting to be on the mat before sunrise.
The rest of the schedule continues through the summer. If you're around in August, come — the heat outside makes the practice inside feel especially good.
Practice with us — in the room or from home
A quick note on how to join, because we want this to be as easy as possible for everyone.
Online classes — £3 drop-in. We stream a good part of our schedule live, and it's genuinely one of the most accessible ways to keep a daily practice going. Three pounds, wherever you are, no travel, no faff. Members with a class plan or pack are welcome to use the online classes too — no extra charge.
When you book, look for the 🌍 symbol — that's the online option. Please make sure you're booking the right one: anyone booked into the virtual class cannot then join in person, and vice versa. It helps us keep the room the right size and the stream properly hosted.
In-person drop-in — £13, or included in your plan or pack.
Our therapeutic window — £5 drop-in, 10:30am to 3:30pm. These are the quieter classes of the day, and we treat them as our therapeutic window — softer paces, more attention on alignment and breath, the kind of practice that meets a body that's been sitting, driving, working, or recovering. Loma-Viloma at 10:30, Movement at 12, and other gentle, therapeutic offerings sit inside this window. £5 at the door for any of them. Ideal if you work from home, work shifts, are new to yoga, or simply want a mid-day reset.
Sponsored classes — £5 or free, even at peak times. A handful of classes on the schedule are sponsored, which means the fee is lowered or waived entirely thanks to a local supporter. Please double-check the class listing when you book — we mark these clearly, and we don't want you paying full price for one that's already been paid forward.
If anything about the schedule or pricing is confusing, message the studio WhatsApp and we'll walk you through it.
That's it for today
Thank you for a lovely opening weekend. Tell us what you thought — we're listening.
The cafe is open. The training deadline is close. The workspace lands 1 August.
Come in, sit down, book a class, or just say hello.
With love,
LoveYour.Studio (team)
