100 Hour Yogic Breath & Yogic Mindfulness Teacher Training
A 100-hour specialist training in yogic breath (prāṇāyāma), with our philosophical themes and contemplative relaxation woven in as the natural fruit of the practice.
Rooted in the Gitananda traditions, the course gives you a complete, safe, classical system of breath — and the contemplative tools (dhāraṇā, yoga nidrā, prāṇa kriyā) that the breath opens into.
One Saturday a month for twelve months at LoveYour.Studio, Farnborough. Led by Yogacharini Deepika Giri and Prajnananda (Marcio Rosa).
Train to teach breath from the source.

What you will gain?
-
By the end of the ten months you will:
-
Hold a steady personal practice in prāṇāyāma, dhāraṇā and contemplative sitting — not as technique, but as a way of meeting yourself.
-
Teach breath-led classes that are safe, sequenced and rooted in tradition — knowing what to offer, what to hold back, and why.
-
Guide deep relaxation (Yoga Nidrā) and short contemplative sessions for groups, with confidence and clarity.
-
Carry the philosophical thread: yamas and niyamas held as living enquiries, the modern psychology bridge traced back to its yogic roots.
-
Belong to a small, committed circle of teachers and practitioners who will know you, challenge you, and stay in your corner.
-
This is not a fast certification. It is a serious training for those ready to teach breath from the source.
Time commitment
-
Across the ten months you commit to:
-
14 meeting days in Farnborough — 9 Saturdays and 5 Sundays.
-
Five months are full Sat + Sun weekends (Nov, Jan, Mar, Apr, Jul).
-
Four are single Saturdays (Oct, Feb, May, Jun).
-
A short daily personal practice — around 30 minutes.
-
Around 3 hours a month of online sādhana with Prajnananda between meeting days.
-
Reflective assignments and a final capstone offering.
-
Total ~3–5 hours a week between modules. The course is paced so it sits alongside a working life.

and more
Contemplative practices the breath opens into
Trāṭaka, ajapā, breath as anchor, mantra as anchor — the dhāraṇā path to one-pointed focus.
Contemplation: classical themes
Selected yamas and niyamas held as contemplative anchors — ahiṁsā (non-harming), satya (truthfulness), svādhyāya (self-study), vairāgya (detachment), santoṣa (contentment). Not as rules — as living enquiries.
Contemplation: modern psychology bridge
Life scripts, inner narrative, positivity and the negativity bias, self-compassion, healthy boundaries. Drawn from counselling and contemporary mindfulness — but traced back to their yogic roots, so you can teach the bridge with integrity.
Yoga nidrā & prāṇa kriyā
Conscious deep relaxation, prāṇa awareness, and the Gitananda Prāṇa Kriyā method.
Nāda Yoga: the path of sound
Gentle bhajan, mantra, and the use of sound as a vehicle for inner awareness. Chanting as breath practice, mantra as anchor for dhāraṇā, and listening practices that train the contemplative ear. Approachable for every voice — no musical background needed.
Safety, contraindications & teaching skills
Adapting breathwork for pregnancy, high blood pressure, anxiety, and respiratory conditions. Cueing breath safely, sequencing a breath-led class, holding silence, trauma-aware delivery.

Meet Your Teachers
Yogathilakam Deepika Giri
Senior Acharya of the Gitananda Yoga tradition
Senior Acharya of the Gitananda Yoga tradition. Founder of The Yogic Breath. Deepika has spent over two decades teaching breath, contemplation and the inner technologies of yoga. She trains and certifies teachers internationally and carries the responsibility of holding the lineage's prāṇa kriyā teachings.
In this course Deepika leads the prāṇāyāma sādhana (Sūrya Prāṇāyāma, Chandra Prāṇāyāma, ajapā, nāḍī shodhana), the safety and contraindications work, and the deepening practices around yoga nidrā and prāṇa kriyā.
She teaches in a way that is precise, quietly demanding, and entirely without hurry.

Prajnananda (Marcio Rosa)
Founder & Director of LoveYour.Studio
Yoga Pros Senior Teacher

"Recognising and accepting the past, living fully in the present, and embracing the future with courage"
Founder of LoveYour.Studio. Trained in the Sanatan tradition under Swami Jnandev Giri, and qualified to Level 4 in Integrative Counselling. His teaching is warm, grounded, and quietly insistent that the work is real. He believes a teacher's first job is to keep practising.
