Every price we charge, and the working behind it - What yoga here actually costs at LoveYour.Studio

I want to be straightforward about money, because I think vagueness about price is one of the reasons people never walk through the door of a yoga studio.

So here is everything, including the arithmetic.

The short version: yoga here starts at £5 a class.

Not a promotion. Not a first-visit-only trick. It is simply what a class costs once you practise regularly — and most people are genuinely surprised, because they assume a yoga studio is the expensive option.

Here is the working:

Class packs sit in between, and I will be honest that they are the most expensive way to practise regularly: 5 classes for £55 works out at £11 a class, and 10 classes for £100 at £10 a class. They are there for flexibility, not for value. If you come three times a week, a membership is roughly half the price.

Off-peak means any weekday class from 10:30am up to our last daytime class at 3:45pm. Monday to Friday. Those classes are £5 to drop into, and the price is already set that way in our booking system — no code, nothing to ask for. Early mornings, after work and the whole weekend are peak at £13. If your week is flexible, off-peak is the cheapest yoga we offer, full stop, and it is our quietest hour so the group is smaller.

If you are 58 or over, 58PLUS takes 15% off any monthly membership. That brings Committed to £61.20 and Light to £54.40. It applies to memberships only — class packs and drop-ins are already at their lowest price.

If you are new, the Welcome Offer is £35 for 30 days of completely unlimited classes. Come every day if you like. It is the only honest way to find out how often you will actually practise, and then you can choose properly.

The price rewards the practice

Look down that table again and you will notice something: the more you practise, the less each class costs. That is not an accident and it is not a volume discount. It is the whole idea.

One class a week is £13. Three classes a week is £5.54 — and £4.71 if you are 58 or over. The people who get the most out of this studio are the ones who come regularly, so the price gets better the more committed you are, not the other way round.

What that buys you is not access to a building. It is the same teachers, week after week, in groups small enough that someone notices when your shoulder is guarding and says something about it. That only exists if people keep coming back — so we have priced it to make coming back the obvious thing to do.

Rooted, and still moving

There are places nearby where a monthly membership costs less than ours and comes with a great deal more equipment. That is a genuinely good deal, and if a yoga slot on a busy timetable is what you want, take it.

What we do is a different thing. Breath, posture, rest — the tradition this practice actually came from, taught properly rather than as a fitness class with the lights down.

But we are not a museum. We honour where it came from and we keep it current: how we teach breath, how we sequence, how we work with older bodies and recovering ones is shaped by what is being learned now about the nervous system, ageing and rest.

Ancient practice, present-day understanding. And there is a teacher training school in the same room, which means the people teaching you are still students themselves — asking questions, not reciting answers.

That is not a price argument. It is a different thing.

No hidden anything

The price you see is the price you pay. No joining fee, no admin fee, nothing added at checkout. Our standard memberships run month to month.

Three ways to start

  1. £35 — your first 30 days, unlimited.

  2. £5 — one off-peak class, any weekday between 10:30am and 3:45pm, if you would rather just try one.

  3. £13 — drop into any class on the timetable, no commitment at all.

And if you genuinely cannot work out which option is cheapest for you, email hello@loveyour.studio and we will do the sums with you. We would far rather you were on the right plan than the expensive one.
