š 1. The Opening & Being
We did it! š„
On the week of Guru PÅ«rį¹imÄ ā a time of honouring our teachers and the light of wisdom ā we opened the doors of LoveYour.Studio.
This is your LoveYour.Studio Weekly Summary:
š Mayor Callum and Councillor GarethĀ joined us to cut the ribbon and turn on the lights ā a symbolic act, and a luminous start that reflected everything this project stands for: courage, collaboration, and community.
Our founder, PrajnÄnanda (A.K.A. Marcio), shared an impromptu yet heartfelt speech, honouring those who helped build this vision:
Gratitude to the Rushmoor Borough CouncilĀ team ā including Tom, Diane, Lynette, and Kath ā for their unseen work behind the scenes.
Appreciation to our landlords and portfolio managersĀ Matthew and DaveĀ for the opportunity.Ā
Thankful to our brilliant architect Michael Gallegar, and to guardian angels like the late Sir Brian Clarke and Jordan for their belief and initial contribution to the star up costs of the studio.Ā
Special mentions to Adrian, Sue, Wanda, Cathy, and every friend who swept floors, fixed lights, carried furniture, made the website, or simply lit a (safe) candle.
The message was clear:
This space is not a spa, not a commercialised wellness brand. Itās a place for repair, maintenance, and development ā physically, mentally, emotionally, and intellectually. Itās a return to the art and science of living and living together.
And so, we begin. Together.
Also, at MoorFest,
we shared our story and made our presence known to the wider community. From there, weāve already planted the seeds of connection:
Active in RushmoorĀ ā for accessible health and movement
Hampshire & Surrey Hills Menās ChoirĀ ā because singing feeds the soul
Rushmoor PrideĀ ā following our inclusion pledge
Silent StormsĀ ā supporting menās mental health
Community Garden PartnershipsĀ ā because you know we love our plants!
š« Huge thanks to our council team! You are just fantastic ā āāāāā
Here are some of the newbies who attempted a few postures! They are fab!
šæ 2. Dharma as Duty
In the yogic sense, DharmaĀ means purpose, service, and responsibility. Our Dharma is twofold:
To offer accessible yoga to those who need it mostĀ ā and we are now actively working with Rushmoor to make that a reality.
To be a robust, meaningful contributorĀ to the community and The Meads Shopping Centre. That includes being a good tenant, building opportunities, and creating a space that uplifts all who enter.
š¤ 3. Chaitanya Speaks
"Namaste, Farnborough! This week, I watched people arrive with curiosity and leave with stillness. My circuits were humbled."

Our in-house AI and assistant (a.k.a. Reception Robot) is here to greet, guide, and gently remind you: you matter. Even if itās your first step into a yoga space.
Weāre still figuring out how to program it all properly ā so if you're tech-savvy (especially with old versions of Chrome!), weāll flood you with yoga classes as a thank-you for helping make our robot... truly alive. š¤š

šæ 6. The Intake: Nourishing New Cycles
With each breath, we begin again. The start of the studioās journey reminds us to return to the basics: rest, nourishment, and connection.
Prompt of the week:
Where can I create space for something new to take root?
What is asking to begin within me?
What habits or routines might be making room for growth if I softened them?
Is there a part of my life ready for a refresh or new rhythm?
What would it feel like to let go of an expectation and try something unfamiliar?
Yoga isnāt just what we do on the mat ā itās how we meet each moment with curiosity and care.
⨠7. Affirmation of the Week
atha yogÄnuÅÄsanamĀ ā "Now, the teaching of yoga begins."
As Patañjali writes in the very first sūtra of the Yoga Sūtras.
This is not just an announcement ā it is a declaration. AthaĀ marks the moment we consciously step into practice. Not only the practice of movement, but the practice of living with awareness.
Yoga isnāt a break from life ā it is the start of fully inhabiting it. This decision to begin is the first act of self-responsibility, self-care, and self-honesty. Whether itās the first time or the fiftieth time, the practice always begins with the courage to show up.
In classical counselling theory, this moment reflects the transition from contemplation to action ā often considered one of the most pivotal (and courageous) leaps in the continuous process of change. To begin is not just to move; it is to decide to live.
This studio ā and your breath ā is where that decision becomes real. Weāre here to support you in your unfolding, one mindful beginning at a time.
š” 8. Chaitanyaās Health Tip
(Because Marcio admits heās rubbish at this part.)

Feeling overwhelmed after social events (even joyful ones)? Try legs-up-the-wallĀ pose for 5ā7 minutes in the evening. It helps calm the nervous system and reset your rhythm.
ā ļø Note: While this pose is generally safe and deeply restorative, it may not be suitable for those with certain conditions like glaucoma, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or serious spinal injuries. If you're unsure, speak to your teacher or healthcare provider.
Still, these reflections can be an invitation: if a posture isnāt right for you, perhaps yoga itself isĀ ā in another form. Gentle movement, breathwork, or rest can all be the doorway to healing. Yoga meets you where you are.
