✨ Don't Be Afraid to Join a Class
It takes courage to walk into something new. If you've been thinking about it but feel nervous, know this: it's completely normal. You are welcome exactly as you are. What we say on our door is true: Judgment doesn't live here. Care does.
You belong, and you are ready, even if your mind tells you otherwise. We have all been there – thinking we cannot make it alone, or that we will be overlooked. But the truth is that we praise autonomy and courage.
The lesson of simply coming in is a powerful one: you can. We are here to help.
🍵 LoveYour.Studio Weekly Summary - Life Updates
💡 The Pendant Is Alive

The pendant light has a new story: it’s alive.
We secured it, added plants, and brought another piece of life into our space.
With the pendant, we can finally provide good light over our "shoe island" by the entrance, and our fig tree is absolutely loving it.
Research shows environments with living plants — not artificial ones — promote deeper healing and emotional well-being (Ulrich, 1984). The yogis told us long ago: life supports life.
We are simply catching up.

🌍 The Intake
Understanding Food & Lifestyle in Yoga
In yoga, vihāra refers to how we live — our daily routines, rest, recreation, and environment. Just as āhāra is what we eat, vihāra is what we do.
This week, consider how your lifestyle patterns are shaping your energy and wellbeing. Where can you create more balance, nourishment, and conscious choices?
Here are some questions you might reflect on:
What small habit is draining my energy?
Where can I create a tiny space for rest or play?
What feels nourishing to my mind and body this week?
Yoga as a holistic and "wholistic" approach to living.
🪷 Affirmation of the Week
"I trust the cycles of my life. I can release and renew. I have the courage to take the first step even when I feel unsure."
\
This is a reminder that you don't have to have everything figured out to begin. The first step can feel scary, but it is also the moment you reclaim your power and say yes to yourself.
Sometimes, our services and this space might be exactly that first step toward empowerment and feeling supported.
🧑🏽⚕️ Yogic Counsellor's Corner
In yoga, we practice vairāgya — detachment. This is the art of being fully engaged in life without clinging to any outcome or identity. It means showing up with love and commitment, but releasing the need to control what comes next.
A wise letting go.
You do not belong to anyone; me or any teacher. You belong to yourself. This is your path. We are simply here to walk beside you.
In modern psychology, this approach resonates with practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which teaches us to hold our thoughts lightly and commit to values without attachment to fixed results. (I wonder where they got these ideas from 😉)
In counselling, it also reflects the idea of autonomy and unconditional positive regard: you are free to grow in your own way, and our role is to witness and support without needing to direct your path.

🧴 Chaitanya’s Self-Care Tip
(Because Marcio admits he’s rubbish at this part.)
Remember to stay hydrated during and after class, especially as the weather warms up.
You might have nightmares hearing Prajnānanda (also known as Marcio) reminding you to take sips of water—but he is right. Even gentle classes can be surprisingly dehydrating.
Some schools will say not to drink because it "puts out the fire." Well, we prefer your systems working smoothly over dogma. So drink water! Keep your cogs well oiled and your mind clear.
we prefer your systems working smoothly over dogma.
If you're building a consistent habit, set reminders on your phone or add your class to your calendar. And most importantly, be kind to yourself. Progress is not linear, and yoga is not a race.
