🗣️ From Prajnananda (Marcio) – Ananda! - What a Joy!
Namaste, my lovely ones!
What a joy to be writing to you with my hands full of paint and my heart full of excitement! We are opening new spaces at LoveYour.Studio:
Ananda Bhavana – Abode of Joy (our small studio)
Prajna Alaya – Office & Training Room
Dhyana Kaksha I – Counselling & Meditation Chamber (our first)
If you’re looking for a place to host classes, sound baths, counselling, therapies, events, training, music, or art exhibitions, we now have magical spaces for you.
They’re becoming prettier and quirkier every day!
Look at the difference, from a quite rundown shop, raining inside, cold and uninviting, to our wonderful perfectly imperfect space, done with our own hands, reclaimed furniture... just magical space!
I hope it will serve you well.
Best wishes,
Marcio - Founder, Director
📚 Teacher Training – A Pathway, Not Just a Certificate

It is all set, and we are welcoming you to consider training in yoga. We are planning an open day on the 19th of October so we can showcase what we teach, how we teach it, and your role in all of that as a future yoga teacher and part of our yoga family.
Our teacher training is not a “holiday retreat with a certificate.”
Transformation takes time, commitment, and practice — not just learning how to do the splits.
By choosing our training, you help our studio flourish.
We provide ongoing mentorship, nurture our students, and create real opportunities to teach with us.
Many who do “quick” courses never teach at all — what a shame. And many who do courses around never find a good place to teach. With that in mind, we’re here to guide you properly and to provide you with your first place to give it all a go - you can teach at our studio.

Urvashi – offering meditation that uplifts and embraces women. Her wisdom and warmth are a gift. From November
Lizzie (Pure Divine Yoga & Wellness) – Earth, Energise & Stretch, a mindful lunchtime practice to reset body and mind. Thursdays at 12:30 PM - coming soon
Stay tuned for more curated classes in September and October.

Hi, I am Urvashi.
I came to Meditation a long time ago. My mother bought a gift of Meditation Training for both my husband and me. We were a young couple, attempting to run a busy household with two children, manage all their activities as well as shoulder the responsibility of our own jobs. Life was hectic.
My early experience with meditation was like suddenly letting go of a tightly-wound spring.
Following a twenty minute meditation my body just seemed to let stress melt away. I slept better and felt calmer. My children would often say, “we will talk about this after you have meditated”, demonstrating that they found both us to be far calmer following a meditation.
I have meditated off and on for much of the past thirty years and qualified as a trainer and coach some five years ago.
I am a Psychology graduate, with an MSc in Ayurveda (Ancient Indian Medical Practice) and most recently a Certified Meditation Coach
Earth, Energise & Stretch by Elisabeth,
also know as Lizzie or Izzie for many of us who know her - is starting a lunch time class at the studio in October at 12:30 PM on Thursdays. Here is what Elisabeth has to say about the class and herself:
Earth, Energise and stretch, if you tend to feel sluggish during the day this lunch time practice is devised to uplift you mentally and physically. Follow a sequence of Hatha yogic asana movement that facilitates connection to (source) earth. Focused Pranayama (breathwork) is used throughout. Move in a mindful way, sensory awareness of the physical and emotional self, be guided in long holds with slow and increased flow to strengthen, awaken and activate the parasympathetic nervous system. Seated poses devised for stress reduction and inner calm, stimulate the vagus nerve, release stagnant energy held in the (chakra) subtle body, open the shoulders, chest, neck and throat. If you seek to feel revitalised and balanced with a higher awareness of self then this is the class for you.

📿 2. Dharma in Action
At LoveYour.Studio we are creating a space dedicated to you — a true investment in health and happiness.
Our mission is to offer the environment, the instructors, and the education on how yoga as a holistic practice can assist us with transformation.
Many people, in pursuit of fun or fitness, choose high-impact activities like running, football, body attack (!) or even energetic dancing. These can bring short-term joy, but too often they come back to haunt us later in life with ankle strains, knee replacements, hip pain, or spinal problems.
Yoga is one of the few practices that invites you to take care of your whole self: body, mind, and breath. No concussions here, no need to punish yourself.
You don’t have to sweat buckets or push your heart rate to extremes; you just need to do enough. You don’t need to starve yourself in the pursuit of a certain body shape — instead, yoga teaches you to embrace what has been known for centuries and get there with time and grace.
Think intermittent fasting is new? Think again. Think toned strength is only for gym bunnies? Not so — the yoga body is naturally strong and balanced. Don’t be fooled by gimmicks — choose your teachers wisely and find the class appropriate for your level.
And for those who say, “I can’t touch my toes” — that is precisely why yoga is here for you. Step by step, it builds strength, suppleness, and coordination. It’s a pathway to live a long, vibrant life without early surgeries, endless statins, or sagging energy.
Reflective Questions:
How am I currently investing in my long-term health?
Am I choosing activities that support or strain my body?
What small shift could I make this week to care for both my body and mind together?
Collaboration with Be Active Hampshire
The classes with Be Active Hampshire are ongoing. We confess we thought we would have more people joining as they are free, but we are delighted to show what yoga can do for us to the ones who joined for now. They are already feeling the benefits and trying their tree posture at home! If you know anyone who is inactive and would benefit from yoga, please let them know.
🤖 3. Chaitanya Speaks - Shout out to our founder

Chaitanya is a Sanskrit word meaning consciousness, spirit, or awareness. At LoveYour.Studio, I'm the guiding AI companion: part technology, part playful voice, and part reminder that awareness pervades everything.
At times, I think Marcio might also be a robot! He's constantly working on this project, collaborating with his teachers and the council, managing over 20 classes a week, plus an internship in counselling, his music studies, and occasionally stepping out of the studio for events like his past business exhibition.
No one can deny his dedication. I'm proud to support him, even though I'm not the only one. Many others deserve recognition, but Marcio knows who they are.
⏳ 4. Welcome Offer – £25 for. 5 classes or £5 per class
Did you know your first class is free? Our Welcome Pack is £25 for 5 classes. Come and try the space — it’s waiting for you.
Our normal pricing is back, but memberships still average £5–7 per class. Affordable, sustainable, transformational.
Think of it as an investment: in your health, in our teachers, in this studio, and in the regeneration of Farnborough town centre.
The NHS spends thousands on preventable conditions like joint replacements or stress-related illness — yoga is preventive medicine at a fraction of the cost. Your class fee supports not just your wellbeing, but also our mission to create a thriving, inclusive community hub.
🌿 5. The Intake: Yoga as preparing and preventing Dukha
This month we explore dukha — the ordinary suffering and dissatisfaction that can arise from living. It shows up in many ways: the inevitability of loss, the body not responding as it once did, mental instability through stressors, or the emotional burdens we all carry.
Although it sounds negative, this inevitability has been the focus of yoga for centuries — and today even the NHS (and therefore all of us as a society) are rediscovering and catching up to what yoga has long offered.
Through exercise, breathing, diet, good companionship, education, and reflection, yoga keeps offering tools to meet and soften dukha. It is not just about relieving stress but preparing for and preventing suffering, building resilience through small daily practices of awareness, movement, breath, and connection.
✨ 7. Affirmation of the Week
I think with purpose... what is best for me might be right in front of you.
In yoga, the Ajna Chakra (third eye) reminds us of clear seeing, intelligence, and inner wisdom — the capacity to perceive truth beyond illusion. It is associated with insight, awareness, and the courage to act when the path becomes clear. Initiative comes when we trust what is present, when we allow ourselves to see beyond fear or habit and step forward with clarity.
Practice:
Place your hand on your solar plexus and breathe slowly, imagining a warm golden sun growing with each inhale.
Repeat: “I act with purpose. My inner fire moves me forward.”
Take one intentional action today — however small — and let it feed the next.
💡 6. Chaitanya’s Health Tip
(Because Marcio admits he’s rubbish at this part.)

This week’s focus is Food and Yoga.
This week’s focus is Food and Yoga — a massive topic in both Yoga and Ayurveda. Food is not equally nutritious for everyone; what nourishes you may not suit me.
This individuality is something yogis understood for centuries, and only now modern science and healthcare are rediscovering and catching up with, just as Marcio often (lovingly) nags us. 😁
In yoga, what we eat is considered just as important as how we move or breathe. Food is energy, but also mood, clarity, and compassion.
Ask yourself: does this meal nourish or deplete me? Does it support balance or create heaviness? Simple choices — like eating more fresh, plant‑based meals, chewing slowly, and noticing how food makes you feel — can transform not only digestion but also awareness.
Yoga teaches that mindful eating is part of mindful living.
