Train with Yoga1 at LoveYour.Studio
Hatha yoga in the Sanatan tradition, taught in small groups by teachers who still practise and teach every week. Our trainings are honest about the work involved: regular Sundays, home study, practice and reflection. If you want to understand yoga more deeply, whether or not you go on to teach, you are welcome here.

HOW WE TEACH
Learning by practising, teaching and reflecting
Our trainings come from the Sanatan Hatha tradition that Swami Jnandev Giri & Yogachariya Deepika Giri passed on to Marcio, and that Marcio has taught at the studio since 2017. It is practical, grounded and kind to real bodies. You learn a method you can actually use, then you use it.

Sanatan Hatha tradition
Postures, breath, relaxation and philosophy taught as one practice, the way they were meant to be.
Time for you
We keep our groups small so we can truly see you: your practice, your questions, your growth. We'll be with you every step of the way.
Continuous assessment
No single make-or-break exam. You are assessed as you go, and earlier material keeps coming back.
Teaching early
On the Foundation you begin teaching short sequences from around the fourth or fifth Sunday, with support.
A family that stays
Support doesn't end with your certificate. You join a growing family of teachers who look out for each other and carry on passing the goodness forward.
MEET THE TRAINERS
The people you'll learn with
Each trainer teaches at the studio, so you can come to a class and meet them before you commit.

Teaching since 2002, he has founded teacher trainings from foundation to advanced level in the UK, Portugal and online. He brings the depth of the tradition to every cohort, with warmth, patience and a sense of humour.

Yogathilakam Deepika Giri

Deepika is a Senior Acharya of the Gitananda Yoga tradition and the founder of The Yogic Breath. She has taught breath and contemplation for over two decades and trains teachers internationally. On our 100-hour training she leads the breath, in a way that is precise, quietly demanding and deeply restful.
Who thrives with us
You don't need to be advanced or flexible. What matters most is a love of practice and the time to give it.
You'll feel at home if…
✓ You have a steady practice of your own and want to understand what sits underneath it
✓ You'd like to teach, to friends, colleagues, a community group or a studio, and want to do it safely and kindly
✓ You simply want to go deeper for yourself. That is a lovely reason too
✓ You enjoy learning with others, sharing feedback and growing together
Good to know
The Foundation asks for one Sunday a month, plus a few hours a week of reading, practice and reflection. If this year is too full, the next intake will be here for you.
We teach you to teach well. We can't promise work or income afterwards, and we'll always be straight with you about that.
OPEN DAYS
Come and see for yourself
Our open days happen on training Sundays, so you see the real thing. Join part of the day with the current group [from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm], meet the trainers, look around the rooms and ask anything you like, from the reading list to the payment plan. Free to attend. Please book ahead so we can keep the group small and comfortable.
