About The Event

Integrating Yoga with Anatomy and Physiology Workshop Series by Ace Pittas

Sunday 19th July 2020 - Integrating Pathology with Yoga

An older member of my regular yoga classes told me that she had a new knee replacement 6 months ago and that her GP told her yoga would be a great exercise to continue after her 6 session quota of NHS physiotherapy had finished, without any further guidelines from her GP. It was clear that her GP didn’t have any idea how many styles of modern yoga are available. Anyway, not wishing to disappoint the GP and especially her, I asked her to give me time for research.

Integrating Physiology with Yoga will use an exploration of case studies with discussion on how yoga can be integrated with physiology. The session will be taught by Ace Pittapan and Sonia Perez Baeza. Case studies cover yoga therapy for post-treatment on weakened shoulders, new hips, new knees, plantar fasciitis, etc.

Other workshops by Ace:

Sunday 19th April 2020 - Integrating Physiology with Yoga

Sunday 17th May 2020 - Integrating Neurology with Yoga

Sunday 28th June 2020 - Integrating Endocrinology with Yoga

Workshops later in the year:

TBA - Integrating Chinese Meridians with Yoga

We offer a 15% discount when you book all five workshops.

About Ace Pittapan

Ace Pittapan was born in Thailand. He first started practising yoga in the middle of 2004. Yoga was introduced to him by a friend as the most suitable remedy to cure his insomnia. After months of practising regularly, he realised that his insomnia had stopped.

He has a background in marketing, with multi-functional roles in conference organisation mostly involving the Medical Association Group in Thailand. He was part of several World-class Medical and Health conferences.

Ace has practised and studied yoga with different teachers to cover a variety of styles of yoga and meditation, as well as additional studies in Pilates and Thai massage. Ace has combined this diverse knowledge and designed flow movement sessions that maximise the benefits of Hatha-Vinyasa yoga. Currently, he is a Senior Yoga Teacher & Trainer accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals UK and Trainer & Editor for Yoga Elements Thailand Coop.
